We all know how daunting it can be to walk into a room full of people you don’t know. It is much worse when you think they are all much fitter than you!
Work at the right level for you
As your personal trainer I will do an assessment in your first personal training session as I need to know what your health and fitness levels are now to make sure you get the results you are paying for, and also so that I get an idea of what exercise you enjoy so that you are really motivated and enjoy our personal training sessions.
The fitness assessment is simply taking some details, discussing your ambitions and your time scales and gives us a point of reference to measure your personal fitness training progress.
You may find it useful to keep a food diary or fill in a lifestyle questionnaire, all great tools to get you focused.

A personal training session will be designed specifically for you which will suit your needs, ambitions and fit with the time you have available to train. Each session with me will take you through a progressive range of whole body exercises to improve your posture, strength, fitness, stamina, flexibility and balance. my one to one training sessions are fun and stimulating, leaving you feeling invigorated and eager for the next one.

Small Group Personal Fitness Training
Personal training with a buddy or a partner is great fun too you can challenge each other and keep each other going between sessions. Look at our personal training price list for information on small group personal training in Surrey. It can make personal training more affordable.
5 Simple tips for motivation
- Keep a log, it is encouraging to see just what you have achieved each week
- You should be tired at the end of a session but not exhausted
- Carry water with you, 500ml per hour
- Wear comfortable clothes you do not need the latest designer gear, unless you want it
- Wear sunscreen. If you are training outside make sure you are protected from the excesses of the sun, we need sun light not sun burn
