Why use a Personal Trainer?
Everyone knows they should exercise, it is good for you. Exercise is the best way to lose weight, tone up and can even help reduce your risk of serious health problems such as heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure. Exercise can even help reverse high blood pressure and improve bone density. It is known to enhance your mood and relieve depression. Regular exercise is simply a wonder drug. It helps build and maintain healthy bones, muscles and joints; it reduces stress and even gives you more energy.
So why do we not all exercise regularly?
The truth is it is difficult to get motivated, to get out there, gyms are boring right? You are busy; simply do not have the time to fit everything into your schedule.
A personal trainer, fitness coach, exercise professional call it what you will, is there to guide you, motivate and watch you. Make sure you exercise safely, getting the most out of your time and investment.
Is a Personal Trainer for me?
Yes, even if you can only afford one session per month or 6 weeks a personal trainer will keep you motivated. It is possible to buy a package that gives you telephone and email contact when you need it most.
What can I expect from Personal Training with Golsby Personal Training?
You will have an assessment when you start with GPT. The reason is simple; we need to know where you are now to make sure you are getting the results you are paying for. The assessment is simply taking some measurement and details, discussing your ambitions and your time scales. You may be asked to keep a food diary or fill in a lifestyle questionnaire, all great tools to keep you focused.
So what do we do next?
A training session will be designed specifically for you. It will suit your needs, ambitions and fit with the time you have available to train. Each session with the trainer will take you through a progressive range of whole body exercises to improve your posture, strength, fitness, stamina, flexibility and balance. Our sessions are fun and stimulating, leaving you feeling invigorated and eager for the next one.
Should I do anything between sessions?
Absolutely, the more you put in to your new lifestyle the more you will get out of it. You will be encouraged to train 3-4 times per week, mixing it up. Your programme may suggest you go for a vigorous walk on Monday, swim on Tuesday, P.T. Session on Friday and ride your bike with the children at the weekends.
